Beck’s Bolero

Whenever we lose someone we admire, it can be tough on the soul. Jeff Beck was one of my favorites and a true guitar legend that never stopped amazing us over the past 60 years. I’ve been listening to him since I was a kid and was lucky enough to see him live twice. He was so respected as a guitarist that Jimi Hendrix often chose to play bass when they jammed together at small clubs after hours. No tapes have surfaced from those sessions, but I digress.

What was amazing is that he could play anything brilliantly in any type of environment; blues, rock, rockabilly, classical, country, etc. Fortunately, we have plenty of wonderful music that he left for us to enjoy for generations.

I know that there is an amazing jam going on right now with Jimi, B.B. Freddie, and Jeff. No tapes will ever surface from those sessions… but wow! I bet the music is heavenly.
